Templates are reusable pieces of wiki code that help standardize and format pages across iBasepedia.
They are written once and can be used on many pages.
What is a template?
A template is a special page that starts with "Template:". For example:
- Template:Infobox film
- Template:Reflist
- Template:Cite web
When you use a template on a page, you include it using double curly braces:
{{Infobox film}}
Using templates
You can pass information into a template using parameters.
Example:
{{Infobox film
| title = My Movie
| director = John Doe
| released = 2026
}}
